Bob Pressler

Bob Pressler, a 41-year fire service veteran, currently serves as the chief of the Montgomery (N.Y.) Volunteer Fire Department. He retired from the Fire Department of New York, where he attained the rank of lieutenant, and was also previously a member of two combination departments as well as a member of several volunteer departments. Pressler holds an associate’s degree in fire protection engineering from Oklahoma State University. He serves on the board of directors of the Fire Department Training Network in Indianapolis and has written numerous articles and lectures on a wide variety of fire service topics.
